Christmas comes early this year in the form of our Christmas Eve feast delivery. We'll be like culinary elves, dropping feasts at the doors of you beautiful people on Christmas eve. We know how much cooking there is to do over the festive season, so take the night off and let us feed you with our super special Christmas eve feast - it can also be enjoyed on Christmas day if you're not planning on cooking yourself!..
We're upping the luxury, complexity and the celebratory nature of our feast for this special Christmas eve delivery. We start with a quartet of oven-ready, hand made canapés, envisaged to be eaten with a glass of something sparkling in hand (add on Harrow & Hope's gorgeous, multi-award winning brut NV), whilst wrapping the last of the pressies or basting the turkey. Crispy, naughty, indulgent and the perfect way to kick off our festive feast...
For the main course we're continuing the decadent vein - we know that the next day it's all pigs in blankets and Quality Street so we're keeping it elegant too - line caught Cornish cod will be topped with a herb crust and served in an unctuous lobster bisque sauce, perhaps accompanied by Davenport's Horsmonden white. The meat option is a luxurious take on the French classic Navarin, where local lamb and winter vegetables come together in festive, saucy harmony - perfectly paired with Blackbook's English Pinot Noir. The veggies are in for a treat with a celeriac main that's been given a load of love and glazed in a spice-infused cider reduction. All three will be served with a hedonistic side of sautéd potatoes & onions 'Lyonnaise' style, and some festive green cheer to finish it off.
A version of our mincemeat almond tart has long been a staple at our festive pop-ups and with none of those happening this year, we're bringing it to you to enjoy at home along with a lashing of whipped brandy butter. The perfect pre-Christmas celebratory feast and there'll be no pans lifted or washing up done.

We have selected three of our favourite English wines to accompany our festive feast. They encompass the spirit of artisan craft that we love in wine and are a real showcase for what is possible in both sparkling and still wine making in this country...
- SPARKLING -
"BRUT RESERVE" NV, Harrow & Hope, Marlow -Pinot Noir blend
We have been banging the drum of Harrow & Hope since they released their first wines some 4 years ago, when we persuaded them to let us sell their fizz at a pop-up we were doing down the road from them in Bourne End. It was obvious from first meeting winemaker Henry Laithwaite and tasting their wines, that they of real supreme quality and a couple of years down the line, they are storming both UK and international wine awards with medals for all of their sparkling wine releases. This is their (multi-award winning) Brut Reserve NV no.4 and is based on the luscious 2015 vintage. Predominated by Pinot Noir, it's full of bright apple, cherry and citrus, with a great texture and a lovely fine, persistent fizz. A gorgeous accompaniment to our festive snacks, the fish/veg mains and even the pudding. A great way to kick off the festivities. Add on for £29.

"HORSMONDEN" 2018, Will Davenport, East Sussex - Bacchus blend
The benchmark English dry white wine from the vintage of the century. Made by Will Davenport, the pioneer of organic winemaking in this country, his 'Horsmondon' dry white is a complex blend of varietals that come together in vinous harmony to create a sapid and pure wine of real character - with a great balance of ripeness from the warm summer, a crisp, fruit driven backbone and mineral core. A lovely wine for a festive feast, it will be the perfect foil for the cod or celeriac mains. Organic, wild yeasts, not fined. Add on for £18.00

"NIGHTJAR" 2018, Blackbook Winery, Battersea - Pinot Noir
A beguiling, highly acclaimed Pinot Noir from the amazing 2018 vintage, with grapes sourced from Essex's 'Clayhill Vineyard' and made at Blackbook's Battersea winery. An urban wine with an old world character. Burgundian in profile, it's packed with cherries and hedgerow fruits, a spiciness and a supple, elegant profile. A lovely addition to the table, it will be a stunning match for the lamb main course and with it's lithe body it will also be a great accompaniment to the fish and veggie main too. Minimal added sulfites, wild yeast fermentation, not fined or filtered. Add on for £19.50.
